Charity Voting System
Our charity voting system allows you to vote for the charities you want to support. Simply click on the heart-shaped charity icon at the top right of any page and select the charities you want to support from the list.
Every search you make counts as one vote, and that vote is divided up between your chosen charities each time you perform a search – just like dividing up a pie!
For example...
How your vote is divided up
If you choose only to support WWF, then 100% of your vote would go towards WWF every time you search.
How your vote is divided up
If you choose to support WWF and UNICEF then 50% of your vote would go to WWF and 50% would go towards UNICEF every time you search.
How your vote is divided up
If you choose 5 charities, then each charity would get 20% (one-fifth) of your vote every time you search.
At the end of each year, we take the aggregate votes for each charity on our list and divide our charitable contributions between them accordingly.
